PRL x Naiomi Glasses Embroidered Boot

Presenting the third and final drop of the Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collection, the inaugural collaboration of the Ralph Lauren Artist in Residence programme, reflecting our evolved design approach with the artisans and communities that inspire us. The Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collection honours Navajo heritage and centuries-old weaving traditions. Naiomi Glasses is a seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) textile artist and designer, whose work reflects the beauty of her Indigenous culture. This concluding assortment captures Naiomi's love of rodeo culture, its heritage and its deep connection to the Navajo way of life. Grounded in denim and rich indigo hues, these pieces find inspiration in the signature attire of Navajo rodeo contestants and the colour of Dinétah (Navajo Nation) skies. Crafted from tumbled leather and suede, this unisex boot nods to Naiomi's ranching heritage with decorative Western stitching on the toe. The hand-finished upper features embroidered panels with traditional four-directional crosses and wedge weave-inspired motifs. The four-directional cross and the number four carry great significance in Navajo tradition as well as in other Native communities. They reference the Earth's four directions and the stars.
