45 mm Engraved Sterling Silver Skeleton

The American Western Watch collection is a limited-production issue of handcrafted timepieces inspired by Ralph Lauren's love of the American West and captures the authentic spirit and individual character of the vintage rodeo and concho belts Mr. Lauren wears, which often influence his designs. Cast in antiqued sterling silver, this model's engraved circular case measures 45.8 mm by 11.24 mm and is finished with an offset crown at 2 o'clock. Using an open-worked, hand-wound mechanical movement originally presented in the RL Automotive collection – the Swiss-made calibre RL98295 movement – this Skeleton features engraved main bridges and base plate in the same motifs as the case, uniting the graceful power of intricate mechanics with the beauty of Western design, a tribute to Ralph Lauren's passion for time-honoured Americana and Swiss precision. The new calibre, RL1967, runs at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, featuring 18 jewels with an approximate 45-hour power reserve. Completing the look is its distinctive leather strap, which is hand-tooled in Texas and burnished in Italy, while the metal case and buckle are hand-engraved and aged in New York City.
