Bugatti Type 57SC Gangloff

The original Bugatti Type 57 was a touring car model produced from 1934 to 1940. The Type 57S/SC variants are some of the most iconic Bugatti cars, with the "S" standing for "Surbaisse" ("Lowered") and the "C" for "Compresseur" (a supercharger introduced by Bugatti as a result of customers' desire for increased power). It included a V-shaped dip at the bottom of the radiator and mesh grilles on either side of the engine compartment. Every detail of Mr. Lauren's personal 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Gangloff—a bodied drophead version—has undergone a detailed scan to produce this exact replica, which is hand-constructed by the British company Amalgam.
