Myles Embellished Ikat-Print Jacket

Drawing inspiration from an archival Collection piece, the Myles blazer is rendered from silk shantung – a plain-weave silk woven with ultra-fine slub yarn to create a rustic look and a soft hand. This jacket is cut for a long, lean silhouette fashioned with besom pockets and shawl lapels. It features one of the season's archival ikat-inspired prints, which is engineered to achieve a perfectly symmetrical look then embellished with shimmering sequins. Prints and patterns from this season's collection are inspired by designs traditional to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and cultures throughout Asia. The interwoven global history of ikat techniques – from as early as the 10th century – holds cherished historical symbolism and varied origins across cultures in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
