The American Western Watch collection is a limited-production issue of handcrafted timepieces inspired by Ralph Lauren's love of the American West and captures the authentic spirit and individual character of the vintage rodeo and concho belts that are worn by Mr Lauren and often influence his designs. Cast in antiqued 18-karat rose gold, this model’s engraved circular case measures 45.8 mm by 11.24 mm and is finished with an offset crown at 2 o’clock. The watch is detailed with a vintage-inspired off-white dial hand-printed with Roman and Arabic numerals –— a signature combination of the Ralph Lauren brand — and finished with Breguet-style hands. The movement — a self-winding calibre RL514 made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren — runs at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, features 26 jewels and has a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. The look is completed by a distinctive leather strap, which is hand-tooled in Texas and burnished in Italy, while the metal case and buckle are hand-engraved and aged in New York City.
