The Glen Plaid Polo Coat

The Polo coat is named for its popularity among English polo players, who would warm up in the garment between matches. Ralph Lauren’s version maintains iconic details such as the double-breasted silhouette and belted back, while elevating it with expert Italian craftsmanship. To create its Glen plaid fabric, Irish wool yarn is spun, dyed and custom-woven by Ireland’s Magee 1866 mill, which has been a Ralph Lauren partner for more than 50 years.
